To ensure the utmost clarity and transparency in our processes, we have detailed our registration policy below, along with information on cancellations and refunds.

Registration, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Registration Process: Your registration for our experiences and retreats is finalized after two key steps: completing the registration form and submitting payment for the experience. Payment can be made through our website or directly via Pix by sending proof of payment through WhatsApp. If you need to pay by credit card, this option is available with an additional 10% fee on the total transaction amount. Registration for all experiences closes 3 days before the event’s scheduled start date. After your registration is confirmed, you will be added to a WhatsApp group to receive all necessary information, such as directions, carpool organization, and a what-to-bring list.

Important Notices: The contribution for the experience includes healthy meals and all retreat activities. Accommodation is priced separately, depending on the chosen option. For participants choosing to stay at nearby inns (pousadas), having your own transportation is essential for daily travel, as we are located approximately 15 minutes from the center of Serra Grande. For those who choose Casa Natureza, please remember it is 1 km away from the Oca Central, where the experiences take place. The chalets and campsite are located very close to the Oca Central. To reach OCA YARY, you need to cross a river with your car. Don’t worry—the river path has a concrete track. However, we recommend paying close attention as you cross to avoid slipping off the track. Always check the path before crossing and plan to arrive during daylight hours.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellation by the Participant: If you need to cancel your participation, your refund will be processed based on the timing of your request, which must be made via WhatsApp.

• Cancellation up to 24 hours after booking: 100% refund of the amount paid.

• Cancellation up to 30 days before the event: 50% refund of the amount paid.

• Cancellation between 29 days and 1 day before the event: No refund will be issued. During this period, organizational costs have already been committed. You may transfer your spot to a friend or family member, provided they complete a new registration form and you give us prior notice via WhatsApp.

Cancellation by Oca Yary: In the rare event that the experience is canceled by Oca Yary, all participants are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid.

Care and Respect in the Oca Yary Environment: So that our experience can be a space of harmony and depth for everyone, we ask for your cooperation and respect for the following guidelines, designed for our collective well-being:

• Group Confidentiality: Creating an environment of trust is essential for everyone to feel comfortable sharing their emotions and experiences. Everything shared within the group, in conversation circles, and during activities must remain confidential.

• Pets: We love animals, but to maintain the tranquility of the group, pets are not allowed. We will already be accompanied by Maui, our gentle and friendly guardian shepherd.

• Alcohol and Other Substances: To support the process of self-discovery, mental clarity, and genuine connection, the consumption of alcoholic beverages or illicit substances is not permitted during the experience. We also recommend refraining from their use in the week leading up to the event as a way to prepare for the experience.

• Tobacco and Similar Products: The use of ceremonial tobacco takes place in the circles during our experiences. However, we ask that the use of conventional cigarettes or similar products be done in outdoor areas, away from the communal spaces.

• Bonfire: Fire is a central element in our experiences. If you have a sensitivity to smoke, or any other sensitivity, please let us know in advance.

Terms and Conditions of Participation

By proceeding with your registration for the chosen experience at OCA YARY, you declare that you have read and agree to the following points:

1. Commitment to Presence: I understand that the Oca Yary experience is one of immersion and connection. I commit to being present and engaged in the planned activities, respecting the group’s flow.

2. Respect and Harmony: I commit to fostering an environment of respect, support, and attentive listening towards all participants, the Oca Yary team, and especially towards the nature that surrounds us and the wisdom that is shared.

3. Health and Well-Being: I confirm that the health information, dietary restrictions, or special needs provided on the registration form are true and complete, and I understand they are essential for my own well-being and safety during the event.

4. Confidentiality: I commit to maintaining confidentiality regarding the personal information and experiences shared by other participants during the retreat. Privacy and trust are essential for the group.

5. Use of Images: I agree that photographs and videos taken during the experience may be used by Oca Yary for promotional purposes on its communication channels, unless I provide prior written notice to the contrary. (If you do not wish to appear in images, simply send us a message via WhatsApp or email to let us know). Any images I take will be for personal use only and will not be used for any form of publicity. I also commit not to use images of other participants without their prior consent.

6. Cancellation Policy: I am aware of and agree to the registration, cancellation, and refund policy for this event, as specified on this page.

7. Safety in Natural Areas (Waterfall and Trails): I am aware that the experience may include activities in natural areas, such as waterfalls and trails where wild animals live. I acknowledge that my use of these areas is my sole responsibility. The event organization does not provide lifeguards or specialized support staff.

8. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that my participation is entirely voluntary and that I am solely responsible for my decisions and actions during and after the experience.

9. Personal Responsibility: I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur to myself or to third parties, directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation.

10. Liability Waiver: By agreeing to these terms, I, the participant, release the facilitator(s), the organization, and the event venue from any and all civil, criminal, and/or administrative liability for any physical, mental, emotional, or material damages that I may suffer or cause to third parties.
